- You are immersed in the processes and in the thick of our day-to-day business: You are responsible for the transportation workflows and report to the board
- You apply foresight to plan and control the deployment of staff
- You are a mover and an initiator, from optimising workflows to training and developing your team – but you still pay attention to the requirements of our quality management and consistently apply our lean management strategy
- You are responsible for achieving our performance indicators within your remit and coordinate closely with the board and your fellow managers
- You assemble a dedicated team for a new customer project
Your track record
- Successfully completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services agent (m/f/o) or a degree in logistics management
- Several years of experience in operational transport logistics
- Expert in transport management systems – SAP/R3 experience preferred
- Confident use of MS Office
- Initial management experience/team leadership
- Customer and solution-oriented communication and excellent organisational skills
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good written and spoken German and English skills and willingness to travel

Focus: Dispatching/transport coordination

You can look forward to a varied range of tasks!
- Operational responsibility for all our customers’ inbound and outbound truck transports in Europe
- Central interface between our customers, their clients, freight forwarders, loading points and internal company interfaces
- Transport planning and control, coordination and monitoring of truck transports (SAP/R3)
- Operational transport cost optimisation
- Loading window booking in standardised booking systems
- Preparation of reports and evaluations
Your track record
- Successfully completed apprenticeship as a freight forwarding and logistics services agent (m/f/o) or equivalent experience in transport logistics
- Several years of experience in operational transport logistics; experience in metal trading is welcome
- Customer and solution-oriented communication and excellent organisational skills
- Independent and solution-oriented approach to work
- Confident use of MS Office tools SAP/R3 experience preferred
- Good German and English skills and willingness to travel occasionally
